About the Inter Faith Network for the UK
The Inter Faith Network for the UK (IFN) was founded in 1987 to promote
good relations between people of different faiths in Britain. Its member
organisations include national representative bodies of the Baha'i;
Buddhist; Christian; Hindu; Jain; Jewish; Muslim; Sikh; and Zoroastrian
communities; national, regional and local inter faith organisations; and
academic institutions and educational bodies concerned with inter faith
issues. IFN works with its member bodies to help make Britain a place marked
by mutual understanding and respect between religions where all can practise
their faith with integrity.
As part of its work, IFN links, shares good practice between, and supports
with advice and information the growing pattern of inter faith initiatives
in the UK at national, regional and local levels. Full information about its
work can be found at www.interfaith.org.uk
